Riyadh Season is extending beyond the Kingdom's capital city once again, as a second international event has been announced; this time, a title fight night taking place in London.

On the night of September 21, spectators from around the world will gather to watch two of UK's best professional boxers go head-to-head in the ring: Anthony Joshua will take on the Daniel Dubois.

And best of all, tickets go on sale via TicketMaster from 9am GMT on Friday June 28, 2024.

Up for grabs is the now-vacant position for the IBF World Heavyweight belt.

Prior to this event announcement, the belt was held by Ukrainian fighter Oleksandr Usyk. Just over a month ago Usyk was declared the first undisputed heavyweight champion of four-belts, following his win (by split decision) over Tyson Fury.

On Instagram, Usyk uploaded a video saying that the belt was a 'gift' to Dubois and Joshua, wishing the professional boxers the best of luck ahead of the upcoming title fight in September in London.

Transformed in no small part by Turki Alalsheikh, Chairman of the Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA), the reach of Riyadh Season has evolved beyond a city-wide celebration. Riyadh Season is now known as a brand that hosts high-octane sporting events, from tennis to boxing to wrestling, each event drawing in household names, professional participants and international spectators alike.

Daniel 'Dynamite Triple D' Dubois is just 26 years old and has held the title of Interim International Boxing Federation (IBF) Heavyweight since the beginning of June 2024. He previously held the title of WBA Heavyweight, and has also held numerous regional titles. Whilst Joshua is 34 years of age, and has held the title of two-time Unified Heavyweight Champion of the World (WBA & IBF).

Both Joshua and Dubois are no strangers to the Riyadh Season boxing events, having both previously fought in arranged matches during the Riyadh Season 2023 season in Saudi Arabia.

This boxing bout is the second international event announced under the new Riyadh Season Card event title; in April it was announced that another title fight has been confirmed to take place in Los Angeles' BMO Stadium, where Terence 'Bud' Crawford will go head-to-head with Israil Madrimov for the dual title of WBA & WBO World Championship Belt for Super-Welterweight.
