Calling all food enthusiasts, the last stretch of 2023 promises a delectable treat!

The Ministry of Culture (MOC) has exciting news to share - a total of five fresh and flavourful food festivals are on the horizon for November and December. Set to sprinkling culinary delight across the Kingdom with two of these gastronomic events planned for Riyadh in November, while the remaining three are set to take place in various locations in December.

So, what type of tasty food experiences can we expect?

At the moment, only a little snippet of information has been released about each food festival, with more news of vendors and exact locations to be announced very soon. But, here is everything we know so far about the new culinary events:

Food Culture Festival

For Riyadh residents, the countdown is on. The first of the five foodie events is set to take over the city's capital. Bringing visitors flavours from around the world, the Food Culture Festival will be a promising start to the winter months.

November 8 - 12, location TBA

Saudi Feast Food Festival

And just ten days later, the city will take a bite out of the Saudi Feast Food Festival. As the name might suggest, it is expected that this food festival will be a celebration of authentic Saudi cuisine and unique Saudi delights.

November 23 - December 2, location TBA

Ramen and Anime Festival

If you're a fan of both ramen and anime, this Jeddah event is tailor-made for you. Expect Asian cuisine combined with an anime theme from your favourite anime series and movies. The Ramen and Anime Festival is set to bring a taste of the Far East to the Middle East.

December 13 - December 17, location TBA

Shetana Festival

Expected to take place in heart of historic Diriyah over three weeks, the Shetana Festival will pay homage to the nation's traditional and authentic Saudi cuisine from the desert. And Diriyah makes for the ideal location to spotlight the complex and rich flavours of our ancestors.

December 4 - December 30, location TBA

Seafood Festival

Al Kohbar will host the Seafood Festival, a celebration of food that will both share and showcase the diversity of Saudi's seafood. Although little more is known about this festival, it is guaranteed that the Seafood Festival will invite visitors to indulge in a wide array of seafood dishes with traditional Saudi flavours.
